Mike is a self-taught wildlife and nature photographer whose journey began in the 1990s. He first discovered his creative side while studying Cartography, a path that led to a successful career as a Cartographer then Manager of Geomatics. During this time, he earned recognition for his award-winning map and logo designs—but photography remained his true passion.

In the early days, Mike explored various genres including sports, weddings, fashion, and wildlife. Over time, he realized that his heart belonged outdoors, capturing the beauty of nature and wildlife. Inspired by the work of renowned photographers like Art Wolfe, Franz Lanting, and Tin Man Lee, Mike committed himself to constant improvement—believing that growth comes from being your own toughest critic, and most importantly, showing up.

Now retired from his professional career, Mike dedicates his time fully to photography, pursuing the craft with passion, patience, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
